Atlantic Future Forum

Leonardo participated at the Atlantic Future Forum 2022 (28-29 September) in New York on board the Royal Navy's HMS Queen Elizabeth aircraft carrier. The Forum is led by the UK Department for International Trade alongside the UK Ministry of Defence and Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, with the aim of strengthening the trade and economic pillars of the Euro-Atlantic Alliance. It brings together senior politicians, policymakers, military and business leaders, and academia, to examine the new dimensions of international security together with how, importantly, future technology will impact the next decade and beyond.

During the Atlantic Future Forum, Leonardo showcased its capability and expertise which puts it among the top ten global players in Aerospace, Defence and Security. Our wide international presence sees us design, develop and manufacture multi-mission rotary and fixed wing aircraft, unmanned platforms, systems and sensors, together with integrated solutions, services and support for the air, land, maritime, space, electro-magnetic and cyber domains.

In 2020, HMS Queen Elizabeth completed a range of training exercises and missions with the US Navy, US Marine Corps and the Royal Netherlands Navy, with a number of these missions employing Leonardo’s world-leading technologies and capabilities.
