Association for Black and Minority Ethnic Engineers (AFBE-UK) – Our partnership is designed to enable us to attract, develop and retain talent from different ethnic backgrounds – talent that we really value. AFBE-UK is a not-for-profit organisation with a current membership of 1,500 individual engineers across the UK.

Carers UK – Leonardo is a proud member of Employers for Carers, Carers UK's business forum, supporting employers to develop a carer-friendly workplace that recognises, respects and values employees juggling work and unpaid care.

Disability Confident Committed – Leonardo has signed up to the Disability Confident scheme because we understand the talent that people with a disability bring to our workplace and we are committed to enabling everyone to succeed.

Flexible Working – Leonardo supports the Working Families charity’s ‘Happy to Talk Flexible Working’ initiative, confirming our commitment to offering smart and flexible working to enable our people to balance their working life with their responsibilities at home.

Inclusive Employers – Leonardo partners with Inclusive Employers, who support our overall Inclusion & Diversity approach to creating an inclusive environment.

Investors in People (IiP) – Leonardo UK has achieved Gold level accreditation for IiP, Investors in Young People (IiYP) and IIP's 'We Invest in Wellbeing', reflecting our commitment to supporting the development of employees through opportunities offered by technology, succession planning and flexible working, and tackling challenges such as ineffectual decision-making, absenteeism and employee disengagement.

STEM Returners – This programme enables candidates to restart their career following a break. Leonardo recognises the skills and talent that these candidates offer and in return provides exciting roles coupled with excellent support on some of our cutting-edge programmes.

The 5% Club – Leonardo is a proud member of the 5% Club, a campaign focused on creating momentum behind the recruitment of apprentices and graduates into the UK workforce.

Think Act Report – Leonardo signed up to this voluntary Government initiative which aims to promote gender equality in the workplace and provides a simple framework to help companies consider gender equality and to focus on recruitment, promotion, retention and pay.

Women in Aviation and Aerospace Charter – Leonardo is proud to be one of the major companies to have signed the WIAA Charter, pledging our support for improving the gender balance in our industry, and building a more balanced and fair industry for women.

Women in Defence Charter – Leonardo is proud to be a signatory of this charter which is designed to promote gender balance across the defence industry.
